Meditation On Love

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
-- Jesus

To love another person is to see the face of God.
-- Victor Hugo

Romans 13:8  ... love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law

  1. You'd think that this commandment would be easy to follow. It's painful to see the lack of love in the world these days. Those of us who are true Christians must be the example for folks to follow. We will be held accountable if we aren't.

    1. I'm so blessed to know many people, online and in my everyday walk of life, Christian and of other faiths who live love and want to share it with others. But boy, there sure is a lot of anger and bitterness isn't there?

  2. Good word, Julie! I'm sitting here, getting a bit of blog visits in before we head to church. Your post was a start in the right direction. Hope life has been treating you and yours well. I've just recently emerged from writer's cave, so that's where I disappeared to. *grins*
    Enjoy your Sunday, my friend.

    1. I hope your absence means another book is about to be birthed! Writing caves are necessary in our life. Thank you for the kind words, and hope church services were edifying. We had a good one today!

    1. Wasn't that recording wonderful? I must have listened to it like four times. I just loved all the people adding their talent.

  4. Powerful words...

Thanks for this, Julie. There's something extra special about you. You carry a light that I don't see in very many people. I love that you share it with us. :)
